There’s a reason Biologique Recherche P50 Lotion is considered a cult favorite. This beloved lotion leaves a signature halo glow that’s unrivaled by any other product on the market. Clients are always asking which P50 lotion is best for their skin (P50, P50V, P50W, or P50 PIGM400), so we wanted to quickly explain the differences to help you find the perfect P50 for you.

The Biologique Recherche P50 Lotion is an exfoliator that cleanses, balances, and leaves the skin smooth. P50 works by removing dead cells and impurities on the skin, balancing the surface pH of the skin, improving the strength and quality of the skin, and regulating and purifying the sebum secretion from our skin. The regular P50 is recommended for normal to oily Skin Instants. All versions of the P50 provide these same core benefits, but are slightly varied to better suit different skin types and conditions.

Biologique Recherche Lotion P50V:
Lotion P50V contains added antioxidant ingredients such as vitamins and walnuts extract. It is best for more mature and aging skin and Skin Instants that are more devitalized and less toned. We look for signs of drier, dehydrated skin, when recommending the P50V. 

Biologique Recherche Lotion P50W:
This is the gentlest version of the P50 lotions, penetrating the epidermis more slowly. The P50W version of the formula uses arnica, which provides anti-inflammatory and healing properties. Arnica also helps provide a soothing effect on the skin. Overall, this lotion is best for thinner and more reactive skin. We recommend P50W for sensitive skin that is more prone to redness and rosacea.

Biologique Recherche Lotion P50 PIGM400:
This is the latest formulation in the line of P50 lotions. It introduces the brightening agents and antioxidants of the PIGM400 line to the P50 lotion line. It also helps protect and recover radiant and luminous skin with its combination of flavonoids and wasabi extracts. Best for Skin Instants with dull complexions and hyper pigmented marks.
